Salary: This is a (40 hours a week-12 month) full-time position at 232 days with a minimum annual salary of $37,303.00 ($160.78/day).


Primary Purpose: Maintain accounting records and process financial transactions for Region 13.


Education/Certification:
  • High school diploma or GED required

Experience:
  • Two (2) or more years office experience
  • General bookkeeping experience required

Special Knowledge/Skills:
  • Exhibit attention to detail
  • Display organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Excel and 10-key
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment
  • Display time management and adheres to deadlines
  • Ability to work under close supervision, follow established center procedures and process transactions according to governmental accounting standards

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure confidentiality of oral, written, and electronic information
  • Receive and verify documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Process financial transactions into accounting system
  • Assist in resolving disputes with vendors and customers
  • Maintain departmental files, documents, and correspondence records
  • Serve as the representative of ESC Region 13, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the educational community and with the public
  • Perform other duties as assigned
