Salary: This is a full-time, 12-month position (232 days) with a minimum annual salary of $63,000.


Primary Purpose:
Provide leadership in developing, implementing and coordinating instructional coaching programs and services. Design and deliver professional development and technical assistance on instructional coaching and/or in content area. .

Education/Certification:
  • Master's Degree in Education or related field preferred
  • Texas Teacher Certification in core content area required (math or science preferred)

Experience:
  • At least three years classroom experience in a core content area
  • At least three years experience in instructional coaching role (preferred)
  • Experience building and presenting workshops, conferences, networks, and professional development sessions
  • Experience in self-directed work
  • Ability to demonstrate tools created for use in the educational field and in trainings

Special Knowledge/Skills:
  • Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in application software (Microsoft Office, word processing, spreadsheets, databases), hard copy and electronic file maintenance
  • Ability to research and apply results in a client-centered and meaningful way
  • Knowledge of key research from leading experts in the instructional coaching field
  • Google Drive
  • Experience with File Maker Pro (preferred)
  • Proficient with conducting virtual learning and meetings with clients
  • Knowledge of ESC Internal Systems, protocols, and procedures (preferred)


Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a representative of the Center, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration and discretion in all interactions with other members of the educational community and with the public.
  • Provide leadership to districts/charters in the development of services
  • Analyze district/charter data for targeted professional development and technical support
  • Create and negotiate contracts with school districts/charters and contractors, with coordinator's input, but can make independent judgment based on district/charter needs
  • Facilitate the operations of the assigned programs
  • Support coordinator in the development and communication of program updates
  • Understand and provide research-based academic strategies to ensure student academic success
  • Develop and coordinate annual Instructional Coaching Conference (ICC)
  • Seek out and organizes guest speakers and partnerships specific to instructional coaching
  • Manage coaching product development
  • Work directly with the digital marketing specialist to organize social media posts and other marketing strategies with input of the coordinator
  • Support coordinator with yearly budget development and plan upcoming offerings with team members
  • Plan and support team members in regard to upcoming district/charter contracts and with the creation of research-based professional development
  • Provides technical support, professional development and instructional coaching services in content area
  • Support coordinator with the planning and delivery of services
  • Develop forms, reports, information, and internal systems to support the work of the team and collaboration with ESC staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
