Series description

Campus behavior coordinators are responsible for maintaining behavior and discipline while adhering to the Student Code of Conduct and TEC Chapter 37.

During this training, we'll support behavior coordinators by covering alternatives to exclusionary discipline.

Each training is only two hours long, followed by an optional networking lunch to discuss training topics or other issues of behavior and discipline.

This part of the training will cover alternatives to exclusionary discipline.

Four parts throughout the year

  1. Part one: TEC Chapter 37 laws and regulations. Administrators and campus behavior coordinators are required to have this training every three years.
  2. Part two: We'll cover creating coaching partnerships with teachers to improve classroom management and behavior.
  3. Part three: We'll cover the cycle of escalation and how to respond during a crisis.
  4. Part four: We'll cover alternatives to exclusionary discipline.
