Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) for students is a systematic data-driven program focused on improving the outcomes for all students. We’ve integrated a continuum of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional instruction within our MTSS Framework as the overarching umbrella for the tiered approaches to prevention and intervention strategies:
- Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
- Response to Intervention (RtI)
- Restorative Practices (RP)
- Social Emotional Learning (SEL)
- Trauma Informed Care (TIC)
- Mental Health
All of the instructional approaches include: universal screening, data-driven decision making, progress monitoring, interventions with increasing levels of intensity that address student need, and a problem-solving process to make decisions with a foundation of culturally relevant instruction.
In our MTSS team training, our MTSS specialists will address these elements through professional development including face-to-face and virtual training, onsite and virtual coaching, online courses and resources, and ongoing feedback and support for campus or district staff.
