Texas Home Learning

ESC Region 13’s THL initiative offers free access to TEKS-aligned, digitally native high-quality instructional materials to be facilitated by teachers that are customized for Texas. We provide support for the implementation of these materials. Although designed to be used comprehensively, districts, schools, or teachers can choose to adopt any portion or subset of the materials.

Our THL initiative consists of:

  • 3 to 4 full-day, in-person sessions with substitute reimbursement (up to $80.00) for each teacher on the team
  • 3 to 4 virtual sessions that can take place before/after school or during the school day
  • A $400.00 stipend for each member who completes all of the requirements (described in the requirements section)
  • Product implementation support from a Region 13 Instructional Coach

Requirements:

  • Each member of the team will receive a $400.00 stipend once each of the items below has been completed

    • 90% participation in all 6-8 training sessions
