This online video course series delivers powerful, evidence-based reading strategies along with practical guidance for integrating them into ELA instruction. Each course features a full-length, face-to-face workshop led by Jennifer Johnson, Director of Dyslexia and 504 Services at Comal ISD, who models effective reading instruction in an engaging, accessible way.
Designed for teachers of K–2 students and beginning readers, including Emergent Bilinguals, this series offers a wide range of interactive, classroom-ready activities. Each course also includes free downloadable instructional materials and curated resource links to support implementation.
These courses can be taken individually or as a complete series and are also a valuable resource for those preparing for the Science of Teaching Reading (STR) exam.
