Safe and secure campuses are essential for student learning. Feeling safe in the classroom helps children succeed in their academics to have a successful future.
At ESC Region 13, opportunities are available to help districts and charters to become safer places. On-going support, consultation, and training (i.e., Emergency Operation Plans, CRASE training, Psychological First Aid Training, Suicide Prevention Training, Behavioral Threat Assessment Training), up-to-date information, resources, and safety audits are available. ESC Region 13’s goal is to improve all aspects of the district and campus security.
