Description:

This course offers a comprehensive study of behavior intervention strategies within a tiered support framework, such as Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Participants will learn how to design, implement, and monitor effective behavioral interventions across all three tiers: universal (Tier 1), targeted (Tier 2), and intensive (Tier 3). The course emphasizes proactive, data-driven approaches to supporting student behavior, fostering positive school climates, and promoting equity and inclusion. Participants will gain practical skills in Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) development, progress monitoring, and collaborative problem-solving with students, families, and staff.
