This is one course in a series created by the Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence in partnership with the Texas Statewide Leadership for Autism Training and TEA. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Assistive Technology: Organization focuses on understanding the common organizational challenges for students with ASD, identifying the features of technology that support common organizational challenges, describes the need for and process to feature match student needs to technology features, and tools that may support students with ASD who demonstrate organizational needs.

Presenters

Jan Rogers is currently the Program Director of the OCALI Assistive Technology Center. She is an occupational therapist and is also a RESNA certified ATP who has worked in a variety of agencies serving the needs of individuals with disabilities for over 30 years.

Wendy Szakacs has been working with persons with disabilities for twenty-three years while specializing in autism for the past sixteen years. She is presently employed as the Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI) Regional Consultant for Autism and Low Incidence for Northeast /eastern Ohio.
