Join us as we build upon our understanding of matter, force, motion, and energy within the K-2 TEKS.
In this workshop focusing on Reporting Categories 1 and 2 for K-2, we will:
- Explore the vertical alignment of content TEKS
- Dive into the specificity of the content TEKS
- Connect Scientific and Engineering Practices (SEPs ) and Recurring Themes and
- Concepts (RTCs) to the content TEKS
- Examine instructional moves we can take to foster conceptual understanding for students
- Engage in facilitated planning time to create action steps that best support our students
