This workshop focuses on practical preparation strategies rather than teaching programmatic concepts of operating CACFP.

Registration Details and Instructions

ESC Region 13 Child Nutrition training classes are a key resource for continuing education for district staff operating Child Nutrition Programs.

  • FSMC Attendance Policy: Each district may bring one food service management company (FSMC) employee, who must be accompanied by the district staff responsible for contract management and oversight.
  • FSMC Registration Fee: FSMC employees must pay a $50 participation fee. The cost cannot be charged to the nonprofit school lunch program or covered with federal nutrition funds.
  • District Staff Fee Waiver: District employees may attend all training classes with no restrictions or fees. Use the code DISTRICTSTAFF during registration to zero out the fee.
