Empowering Parents, Enhancing Education

The Region 13 Migrant Education Program (MEP) promotes parent involvement and empowers parents or guardians to participate in their child's education actively. We aim to increase awareness of the available resources and services provided by the MEP and provide valuable feedback on the effectiveness of these services. Working collaboratively with the MEP, we strive to create a supportive and enriching educational environment for migratory children.

Your Voice Matters

As a program requirement, ESC Region 13 actively recruits migratory parents/guardians to join our committee. We value your unique perspective and the insights you bring as a parent or guardian of a migratory child. Your voice matters, and together, we can make a difference in our children's educational journey.

Support and Advocacy

Our committee serves as a platform for parents or guardians to support and advocate for their student's educational needs. We offer a nurturing community where you can connect with other parents or guardians who understand the challenges and opportunities of the migratory experience. Through our collaboration with the MEP, we work towards ensuring that our children receive the necessary support to thrive academically and emotionally.

Year-Round PAC Meetings

To foster communication and engagement, we coordinate and host PAC meetings year-round. These meetings provide a space for open dialogue, sharing of experiences, and brainstorming innovative ideas. It is an opportunity for parents or guardians to actively contribute to developing effective strategies and initiatives that benefit migratory children within the Region 13 Migrant Education Program.
