Parent and Family Engagement Cooperative

Strengthening Family-School Partnerships

The Parent and Family Engagement (PFE) Cooperative helps Local Education Agencies (LEAs) strengthen family-school connections. It provides practical tools, expert guidance, and effective strategies to support family engagement personnel and foster inclusive educational communities. The PFE Cooperative helps ensure LEAs meet Title I, Part A, PFE federal requirements found in ESSA Section 1116 (e) for the capacity building "shalls" through enrollment in watch parties that deliver the required content using more cost-effective economies of scale. Participation and registration for these watch parties will enable LEAs to not only meet these federal requirements but also enable them to confidently mark in-compliance on TEA's ESSA Consolidate Self-Compliance Report for critical PFE items.

Cost-Effective Compliance and Expert Support

Join the PFE Cooperative to access expert-driven services that empower family engagement personnel, strengthen family-school partnerships, and ensure compliance, all while catering to the unique needs of your LEA. To develop and host four events on your own, within your LEA, would cost at least $1,960 or more in personnel effort. Thus, signing up for this cooperative is more cost effective than sourcing the expertise from within or without. You can rely on regional expertise to help meet your critical compliance requirements.
