The Performance-Based Monitoring (PBM) system is a data-driven system reliant on data submitted by districts. Confirming the accuracy of data is a critical part of the process necessary to validate and safeguard the integrity of the overall PBM system. ESC Region 13 provides support, training, and consultation to LEAs when it comes to data validation, interpreting reports, and submission of documentation to the Texas Education Agency via Intervention, Stage, and Activity Manager (ISAM).
ESC Region 13 PBM support includes support for annual data validation analyses that examine districts' leaver and dropout records, discipline data, and student assessment data.
