Region 13's, McKinney-Vento Education Program in collaboration with Region 15, invites you to join us for Better Together - Champions for Change: Collaborating for Secure Futures workshop. This is an opportunity for McKinney-Vento Liaisons, Foster Care Liaisons, Social Workers and others to learn together and discuss best practices for building capacity.
Presentations during the workshop will include understanding McKinney-Vento, best practice strategies, and self care tips. Participants will learn about building their narratives around clarity, perspective, hope, and affirmative methods designed to build skills everyone needs. Participants will leave with practical strategies.
The workshop will be held in Fredericksburg, located in the lovely hill country of Texas.
