Join us as we build upon our understanding of Earth, space, organisms and environments within the 3-5 TEKS.
In this workshop focusing on Reporting Categories 3 and 4 for grades 3-5, we will:
- Explore vertical alignment of content TEKS.
- Dive into specificity of the content TEKS.
- Connect Scientific and Engineering Practices (SEPs) and Recurring Themes and Concepts (RTCs) to the content TEKS.
- Examine instructional moves we can take to foster conceptual understanding for students.
- Engage in facilitated planning time to create action steps that best support our students.
