Join us as we build upon our understanding of matter, force, motion, and energy within the 3–5 TEKS.
In this workshop focusing on Reporting Categories 1 and 2 for grades 3–5, we will:
- Explore vertical alignment of content TEKS.
- Dive into specificity of the content TEKS.
- Connect Scientific and Engineering Practices (SEPs ) and Recurring Themes and Concepts (RTCs) to the content TEKS.
- Examine instructional moves we can take to foster conceptual understanding for students.
- Engage in facilitated planning time to create action steps that best support our students.
