The TEHCY Project Pathway Leadership Program is designed to empower students in Region 13 LEAs with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate their future with confidence. Through engaging workshops and hands-on activities, students will develop essential leadership, professional, and financial literacy skills to help them succeed in college, career, and beyond.

What to Expect

Students participating in the Project Pathway Leadership Program will gain valuable insights and practical experience in key areas, including:

Preparing for College Success

  • Understanding the roadmap to college, including application processes, financial aid, and scholarships
  • Building strong academic and leadership skills to stand out in applications

Professional Etiquette & Social Skills

  • Mastering the art of introductions and professional networking
  • Practicing dining etiquette and appropriate conversational skills
  • Learning how to write a meaningful thank-you note

Career Readiness & Personal Presentation

  • Developing strong interviewing skills to make a great first impression
  • Understanding professional dress codes and how to dress for success
  • Learning teamwork strategies to collaborate effectively with peers and colleagues

Financial Literacy & Smart Money Management

  • Understanding how to use and manage credit cards responsibly
  • Navigating bank accounts, budgeting, and couponing for everyday savings
  • Learning the basics of IRS tax requirements and responsibilities

Who Can Participate?

This leadership program is open to students in Region 13 LEAs who are looking to build their leadership skills, gain confidence in professional and social settings, and prepare for a successful future.
