Simplify Your District's Rating Calculation Process

You may recall using specific targets and cut points to determine a district's rating. Under the new accountability, you no longer use this information in the rating process. Instead, TEA's methodology uses proportional weighting by domain to determine a district’s rating.

Region 13 has created a District Proportional Weighting Methodology Template to help you easily make those calculations. Simply enter the October snapshot, grades 3-12 enrollment numbers for the district and each campus, and the weighting will automatically calculate for you.
