Designed to support school counselors in their first three years—while open to all—this high-impact professional learning series equips participants with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to build and sustain an effective school counseling program.
NCI offers a collaborative interactive learning experience grounded in evidence-based practices and aligned to the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs. Participants will engage in meaningful learning, connect with peers, and receive guidance from experienced professionals to strengthen their practice and expand their impact.
The series includes two full in-person days, two hybrid half-day sessions with collaborative lab time, and a one-day end-of-year reflective retreat—creating space for both skill-building and intentional reflection.
Participants will walk away with practical, data-driven strategies to design, implement, and evaluate counseling programs; strengthen alignment to campus and district priorities; and confidently navigate the challenges of the role.
