Description: : This session is designed to equip school-based speech-language pathologists (SLPs) with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complex ethical dilemmas encountered in educational settings. Participants will delve into common ethical issues, including service delivery models, caseload management, confidentiality, assessment practices, and collaboration with educational teams. This workshop will also provide updates on state licensure rules and present case study analyses that allow participants to practice making decisions based on the code of ethics.

  • The workshops must be viewed live, they are never recorded

  • You must register with the Education Service Center associated with the region in which you work (for example, Region 13 serves Central Texas) using your district email address

  • You will receive the link to join the webinar in the days preceding the webinar

  • You must watch until the end in order to collect the TSHA Verification Code

  • Each webinar offers 3.0 TSHA CEUs
