Join us for the second session of the Blueprints for Success: LID Learning Series, an interactive, hands-on workshop designed to extend learning from the Texas SPED Support Rubric of Effective Practices for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities online module series. This session bridges online pre-work with real-world classroom application, ensuring participants walk away with strategies that make an immediate impact.
What to Expect
In this session, we’ll explore how to design a well-structured learning environment that supports both students and teachers. Participants will learn how to:
- Create effective classroom and student schedules that maximize learning time.
- Implement positive behavior supports to encourage student success.
- Organize classroom spaces and systems to better meet the needs of learners with complex access needs.
How It Works
To maximize your learning, you’ll complete short online modules before each session. You can:
- Complete the pre-work module on your own time before the session
- Join an optional 1-hour dedicated work time before the session to complete the pre-work module with support.
