Behavior Coach Endorsement Program

The Behavior Coach Endorsement Program is a yearlong, 240-hour training program for administrators, counselors, teachers, and paraprofessionals who wish to become behavior specialists. The program is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to support students with challenging behaviors effectively.

The program covers a wide range of topics, including:

  • The continuum of behavior services, from whole school systems to individualized behavior programming

  • Behavior curriculums and interventions

  • Leadership and coaching skills

  • Data-driven decision making

  • Family engagement

  • Crisis prevention and intervention

At the end of the program, participants will be able to:

  • Assess student behavior.

  • Develop and implement behavior interventions.

  • Collaborate with families and other stakeholders.

  • Use data to measure the effectiveness of behavior interventions.

  • Lead and coach other staff members.
