Career and Technical Education Cooperative

All schools should prepare students for life outside of academics by focusing on career and technical education along with the traditional academic education. Region 13 serves as a fiscal agent—ensuring that CTE programs in our region meet accountability needs, stay current, and gain greater independence. Our Career and Technical Education Cooperative keeps practicing CTE administrators and staff members up to date on federal and state level guidelines and info. This network also provides CTE staff with opportunities to network with fellow counselors, hear presentations from the Texas Education Agency, ESC Region 13 staff members, and additional guest speakers. Notably, our CTE ASCs are highly industry-driven, ensuring that the content and discussions remain relevant to current industry standards.
